Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Sahara Rose!
I was never someone who knew exactly what I wanted to do for a career path. I always had different interests and skill sets yet nothing that I had learned about or discovered in the tourism industry fulfilled how I was to use my knowledge of travel to make a difference.
The industry always put travel careers in boxes and provided limited options if you had a passion for travel and wanted to help others.
That’s when I started my own Wellness Travel Coaching business in 2018 after realizing that I wanted to mesh coaching + my passion for travel. I chose the wellness space because I believed so deeply in (and studied) the various mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and overall wellness benefits of travel. I chose my niche of business travel because of personal experiences talking with business travelers and learning about the roaring burnout epidemic that was happening in that industry.
I then I founded The Travel Coach Network to guide others who share a similar passion for travel and help them start and grow their own travel coaching business. The Travel Coach Certification Program was born. Both within and outside of our ICF-accredited program, I have worked with over 1,000 coaches and business owners, giving them my ideas, insight, advice, and guidance for their business journey.
At the same time, I continue to get paid to travel and speak at corporate and industry events about wellness travel, including for the Global Business Travel Association, ProcureCon, GBTA Chapter meets, and the Travel Leaders Executive Forum.
Over the years, I have worked with various brands and companies through partnerships and paid sponsorship including Royal Caribbean, Tripbeat, JourneyWoman, RetreatBoss, Cohere, Solo Traveler, GoBe, among others.
I am a multiple 6-figure business owner, a published author global speaker, TEDx speaker, Start-up Investor, and has been in over 350+ media outlets including Travel Weekly, Conde Nast Traveler, AFAR, TripAdvisor, CNBC, CNN Travel, and twice in Forbes. I am a member of the Advisory Board for The Hotel Guide, was named one of 2023’s Most Influential Women in Travel by TravelPulse, and also appeared on Season 8 of Project Pitch It.
