Clients want to feel and know that you are truly hearing what they have to say. It is your responsibility as the travel coach to focus completely on what your client is and isn't saying. This is important because in order to provide proper and effective advice and guidance, you need to fully understand your client's desires, self-expression, goals, fears, values, beliefs, and idea of possibilities.
As a travel coach, empowerment and personalization are key ingredients to your services which is why it is important that you encourage, accept, explore, and reinforce your client's unique perceptions, feelings, worries, beliefs, wellbeing, learning style, and ideas/suggestions. Then, with those ideas and suggestions of your client, build upon them and integrate them into how you see them moving forward and excelling towards their goals.
Asking the right questions is crucial. Go beneath the surface than the traditional logistics of a trip or a client’s past travel decisions and...

I’ve seen the posts time and time again that say “book now!” or “why you should visit (insert destination) now!”
Travel is too meaningful of an experience to “sell” it in a very surface-level way.
Why and how people travel, where they go, and who they travel with all has purpose to it. What people are seeking out of a travel experience has reason behind it and intention that needs to be applied to it.
Here are 5 things to ask yourself if you are struggling to attract your ideal clients:
1) Are you clear on your story?
Your own story of why you started traveling, what travel has done for you, how travel has transformed and impacted your life, what travel means to you, any hurdles that you’ve overcome, any downfalls that you’ve had, any...

Has anyone ever told you that before?
"Your idea is not good."
"You’ll never find a customer."
"Your concept is not a 'thing'."
"No one will ever pay money for that."
If you have been told that before OR you tell yourself that, here are 5 things that I want you to consider:
